Hmm, the last series I got really into was Overwatch! I don't play but I enjoy the lore a lot and I enjoy keeping up with new developments (and seeing all the fantastic fanart for it).

I don't recall any DR fanart that stands out to me, but for recent series, I'd say Mahou Tsukai no Yome! The colours and art are really pleasing to look at, and the artist's really good with flowy objects.

I really need to get my finger out and play Dangit Grandpa sometime! As for something I've recently gotten into... I think it's mainly been podcasts because all I ever play anymore is Final Fantasy XIV. Lore is about supernatural happenings and creepiness, sometimes historical and sometimes more recent, and it very appropriate to the season!

Idk, how about a series I picked up again after a looooong time? Detective Conan! I'd caught a few of the episodes on the Funimation channel years ago, and read the first few volumes of the manga, but I've only really just got into it. I'm on volume 40-something right now and it looks like we might finally be hitting some of the overarching plot! (Watch. It's going to be a red herring again.)

Uhh, I don't think it counts as recently anymore, but I watched Love Live! Sunshine!! every week throughout summer. I think I actually like it more than the original series if I'm honest, but that might just be because I only really got into the original after it was over instead of watching it week by week like I did with sunshine.
