Halloween Event 2015
Hello there! I have some gray candy for you!
doesn't it look tempting? I know, I know...
HOWEVER! And that's a big however! You need to do something for me if you want it! As in last year's event, you can choose one of 8 tasks, each one represented by one of our Colors colors. Some are very easy, some a bit harder. One person can do only one task, of course. Additionally, no more than 7 people can take the same task. Of course, if there'll be more than 56 people who want candy, I'll increase that limit.
THE TASKS:
Red (3 left): Halloween is scary time, but hey, let's keep positive. Tell me one thing you like about Colors! No matter if it's a game, an event, a person or anything else! Just tell me why you like it!
Orange (0 left): Meow time. We all love cat videos, right? Well then, link me a cat video! Maybe it will be one I haven't seen yet, who knows?
Yellow (1 left): As always, an icon task! This year, I'm in a mood for some bishies ;; So, comment with an icon with a pretty boy! No facial hair allowed, obviously.
Green (2 left): I have so many games to play. So... why don't I find some more? Recommend me a video game! Tell me as much about it as you want. It doesn't matter what genre it is, just make sure it's not an Xbox exclusive ;;
Blue (5 left): My bby Rei Ayanami is facing some really tough battles in the next few weeks. Could you help her? Please vote for Rei in Coloseum! I'll be really grateful.
Purple (4 left): Last year I asked for your voice, this time let's do something different. Draw yourself in MS Paint and ask for a candy in the speech bubble! I'm sure I won't be able to refuse.
Brown (6 left): Have you seen my Cain03 collection? I STILL WANT MORE. So, please trade me a Cain03 card! You may ask for anything from my trade pile in return.
Gray (6 left): Yes! There just had to be a task that involves dicks! This year, I'm asking you to write a short poem that contains a penis. It can be super short, doesn't matter.

Aaahhh where to begin on why I love it? Well, for starters, the concept. You've got the Mario whimsy paired with one of my favorite genres of gameplay: the turn-based RPG. Except it's not entirely turn-based because you can execute action commands to deal more or take less damage, which kind of blew my mind back in the day and still stands up as a fun mechanic to keep you on your toes during the battles.
I am also guaranteed to love anything that has a bunch of main characters, and this game definitely serves that up too, because you get 8 different partners you team up with over the course of the game and they're all great both in personality and in powers that they bring to the table. The writing is also top-notch - you can tell the translators had some fun with this one.
Honestly, I basically think this is a perfect video game, which is why it kind of boggles me that as far as I remember, the sequel (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door) took everything great about it and made it even better. I am currently looking for a way to legitimately get my hands on that one, because god DANG. I need my Paper Mario fix.
